11.11pm, Walking Bethan to the bus stop after a yummy dinner that saw all of us (Ruth, Nicky, Jack, Bethan and I) tucking into quesadillas, my speciality. Andy taught me to make them when he used to come and visit me in Liverpool (the last chapter of my life; well, the chapter before Berlin, I guess) and so, for that reason, I always associate them with the 'Pool. Which is kind of relevant, as Bethan is my friend from Liverpool too – we met at Spanish class when we were both going through a midlife crisis and wanted to make new friends!
