Friday 9 April – Memories of a funny sunny lovefest wedding

11.11am, At work (from my bed - perks of working from home, right?!). Today is mine and Andy's anniversary of our Aussie wedding. Such lovely memories of that day. We looked through some pics and went for a walk after work and a Pimm's/beer atBattery Rocks. Then a bottle of bubbly at Mum and Dad's, before coming home and ordering pizza, sitting on the sofa and have an all-round nice, chatty evening, remembering our all-round messy, fun, colourful lovefest Aussie wedding.

Tuesday 6 April – Outdoor meetings

11.11am, At work. Today is Wed Magazine day, and in the afternoon I met my boss/friend Rebecca for a coffee-doughnut-walk meeting. The sun was shining and it was so nice to get together, considering how little we've all been able to see each other recently.

Monday 5 April – Low-key bank holidays

11.11am, Ummmm not doing a lot. I did heaps of reading this weekend, as Andy worked away on DIY for our loft. He's ace. In the evening I watched netball and we ate great snacks. A proper lazy lovely bank holiday (for me).

Sunday 4 April – Easter Sunday Funday

11.11am, Having a swim. I met my friend Carly this morning and we had a walk and a lovely sea swim. It was freezing in the water but for the first time this year we wore our wetsuits, what a difference that makes! At lunchtime, Andy and I went to Pippa's for an Easter barbecue and egg hunt in her garden; the sun shone, the eggs were never-ending and it was just lovely.

Saturday 3 April – The hot cross buns of doom

11.11am, Trying to make hot cross buns. I started yesterday... they're still going, and it's not going well. Eventually they came out the oven... and their crosses had disappeared and they tasted more like scones. But they were hot, at least! We nipped over to Sennen for a quick walk, then had a quiet evening.

Friday 2 April – Gorgeous days off

11.11am, Pottering around the house. I am embracing doing not a lot this Easter, so my day started with reading in bed. Andy is doing the complete opposite, and doing loads of work in our loft, so I feel extra-lazy! I popped over to have a cuppa with my mum in her garden (she has hurt her knee so can't walk much at the mo sadly), then had a run with my friend. We went very off the beaten track, and nearly got trampled by cows, which resulted in me diving through a gorse bush to escape. Very dramatic. Afterwards, I made some hot cross buns with my neighbour, which went horribly wrong, and then I had a gorgeous evening. I walked up through the fields to Ruth's house in Chyenhal, where a few of us met for drinks and pizza around her firepit. As I was walking there in the sunshine, with a tin of gin, and lambs frolicking near me, I was in a perfect moment of happiness!

Thursday 1 April – Cheers to a new/same job!

11.11am, At work. Today was crazy hectic, not only because there's loads to do and we have a short week next week because of the Easter long weekend, but also because I was helping to induct a new member of staff today. It's exciting because she's starting in one of the roles I was helping to cover, so my workload should in theory calm down slightly. All in all, it was a hectic day, which culminated in a large glass of wine at about 8pm. Here's to four days off, woop!

Tuesday 30 March – An early start

11.11am, At home, working, tired. Andy and I got up at about 5.45am so he could have an early surf, and I decided to go with him to see the sun and a change of scenery before work. We went to Gwenver and it was pretty freezing and grey, but actually drinking tea on the beach at 6.30am with no-one else around was kind of awesome. We were home by 7.30, and the day began, again.

Friday 26 March – Just keep running

11.11am, Working. Today, we reached 10,000 followers on our Wed Magazine Instagram account. So stoked, as raising the follower numbers was one of my targets when I started at Wed three years ago, when we had 2252 followers. At lunchtime, I went for my usual Friday run and sea swim with Carly - we stayed in the sea for over a minute today! This is serious progress for us :)

It's been a week of running - Andy and I went on Tuesday evening (which was so fun to go with him, but he was way too fast for me), then with Kate on Thursday (another sea swim to cool off after, including Kate dropping her phone in the sea, eek!). I've had loads of evening work to do this week, so I've been trying to get out in the day to help with a screen and a brain break!

Sunday 21 March – Walk up an appetite

11.11am, Getting ready to watch netball. There's now 4 Vitality Netball Superleague games on every Sunday, and I watch as many of them as possible! I took a little break with Andy to go for a walk from Marazion to Perranuthnoe, where we ate carrot cake muffins.

Thursday 18 March – Such a good one

11.11am, Logging off my computer. I’m not meant to be working today (having taken a few days off this week) but I had to join a meeting. The day started with a sunny walk, and we were both keen to get back out in it, so we headed over to Pedn Vounder, stopping to pick up some pasties and beers on the way, and then had a gorgeous hour or two down on the beach. It was so warm for March (the sea, however, was not warm!) and the walk is always a proper good leg-stretcher too! Afterwards, I worked for a couple of hours, then sat down to watch the final of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK. I was heavily invested and, even though neither of my faves won, it was such a good series! Then Andy and I ate prawns, watched Taskmaster, drank wine and went to bed. Pretty perfect!

Monday 29 March - Still keeping it local

11.11am, Working from my little office. It's funny and almost unbelievable to think that it's been more than a year since we started working from home, and staying local. My working day is pretty similar to how it was back then – I worked from my office, then had a break after work to go for a little walk around Newlyn with Andy, then took a virtual Walking Netball session from my office (the set-up is pretty messy!). I wonder what will stay from these weird times, and what will change.

Sunday 28 March - Such a Sunday

11.11am, Drinking coffee and reading my book. The clocks went forward last night, and I drank lots of wine, and I slept badly, so I ended up having a bit of a mega lie-in until about 10am (new time; 9am old time), which is pretty late for me. The morning was a blur of Sunday morning stuff; in fact the whole day was. I repotted a lot of plants, which has been on my to-do list for aaaages, watched some netball, went for a quick and cold walk, did some washing, just normal Sunday things. All too soon this lovely restful day is over!

Saturday 27 March – Dad's second lockdown birthday!

11.11am, Having brekky and then going to get a coffee from Lovett's. I then had a day of sorting stuff out around the house, a little walk at Portheras, a balcony hang, and then saw Dad for his birthday. I can't believe he's had two in lockdown now! I then drank a lot of wine in his honour on my couch, haha. Love you Dad. x

Wednesday 17 March – Making memories with Mum

11.11am, Making a plan with Mum. I have taken today off work and it’s a glorious sunny day, so Mum and I are going on a walk we’ve been planning for ages. We started at Zennor and ended at St Ives and in between walked 10 miles of glorious cliff path. We climbed over rocks, waded through streams, scrambled through mud, sat and baked in the sunshine and ate a big old picnic, saw a fast-swimming seal, and talked and talked and talked. It was an incredibly special day, we thrashed out all the big issues, talked in silly voices, helped each other when we slipped, reflected on a weird year and all-round soaked up each other’s company. One of those days I won’t ever forget.
