11.11pm, Having our house Christmas party! I'm heading home, back to Cornwall tomorrow evening so it was our last night in London together before Christmas. Ruth and Nicky met me after work in Exmouth Market, one of my favourite places in London and only 20 minutes-ish' walk from our house. We wrapped up very warm, had a peruse around the festively decorated shops, helped ourselves to some free mince pies, indulged in a glass of wine (and a freebie glass of champers!), bought a Christmas present or two, then walked home to make halloumi and mushroom burgers, washed down with a gin and ginger.
