11.11am, Getting a pedicure. What a treat. To make the day even better, the sun finally decided to come out after months of cold, grey weather. Andy came to meet me in Manor House Gardens and we had a picnic then fell asleep in the sun. It was perfect!
As we hadn't made any plans for the day (at least, no official ones; I was supposed to start sorting out Australia packing, but I decided that wasn't urgent), we could say yes when our friend Kes invited us to a bbq at his house. We arrived in time to catch the last of the sun, then ate the yummiest bbq food ever (steaks, salads, sausages), and whiled away the night playing poker and drinking margaritas. Hello summer!
