Sunday 13 July – Christmas in July

Current location: Erskineville
11.11am, Chopping. Australia has a funny tradition of celebrating Christmas in July (as well as in December), which I'm guessing something to do with it being cold then, so you can embrace mulled wine, stuffing etc, without feeling like you're about to melt.
Fourteen of us ended up being at our house for Christmas dinner, so there was a lot of prep to do, a lot of veggies to cut, a lot of potatoes to roast, a lot of decorations to put up and the festive smell of mulled wine in the air! I love Christmas (any time of year!)!
