Tuesday 19 November – Hitting the high seas

Current location: Booker Bay, Central Coast
11.11am, At Anderson's Boatshed, renting a boat to go out fishing for the day. I've never been fishing, but it's stopped raining (finally!) and the sun has come out so we decided a day at sea would be lovely. It was soooo much fun and, despite not catching anything (Andy caught two and Val caught one), we had the best day, just sunbathing, chatting and looking around the little islands around Ettalong Beach. Until we got stuck on a sandbank and had to get rescued! A little sheepish, we headed back to shore, following another boat so we wouldn't get stuck again... But then they got stuck...and we got stuck... And we had to be rescued again!! Thank goodness for Lee from Anderson's, who kept towing us back into deeper waters. Such a fun, gorgeous day though, and so nice to feel the sun on our faces again after so much rain!
