Saturday 7 December – Finders Keepers, losers to the coast

Current location: Erskineville
11.11am, In the back garden, having breakfast in the sunshine. Kara came round this morning, bearing pastries and fruit juice, so we sat out and had a leisurely brekkie for a while, then headed off to the Finders Keepers market. It was really good, full of loads of crafty, beautiful things, but was a bit overwhelming! There was so much stuff! I bought a couple of Christmas/birthday pressies for people, and then a present for myself in the form of a new, pink necklace. I love it!

In the afternoon, Bree, Nick and I decided to make the most of the lovely weather and head up the coast for the night. We arrived at Ettalong Beach in time to go to the beach for a quick swim, a walk with the dog, and a read. Jess and her mum arrived an hour later, and we sat out on the verandah with wine and cheese, then made a big delicious feast. We ended up sitting around the kitchen table for hours (we didn't even play any board games!), talking about Christmas, underwear, pressies, just general rubbish, until it was gone 1am and I crawled off to the caravan in the garden for a good night's sleep!
