11.11pm, Working from the apartment. I started the day with another run with Bree (I love running in this city!) and then hit the gym for a bit. Work was punctuated with a coffee run to a very cute cafe down the road, then I worked again for the afternoon. When that was done, Bree and I went for a gorgeous walk along the canal, which was so full of people out celebrating the public holiday. It was super hot and sunny so we had a beer and a burger by the water, then headed home to meet Nick, who flew in this evening. The three of us then had an amazing dinner at Schmetterling Haus (the butterfly house) and caught up on each other’s news in a spectacular setting, before walking home in the warm eve.
