Current location: Amsterdam
11.11pm, Coming home from dinner. This morning, Emily and I packed and left to get to Stansted Airport. Cue a semi-stressful but hilarious journey, gin on the bus, meeting Sarah and Cat, an expensive airport lunch and a long wait at the gate as I made us all get there too early.
We had a fun flight (all too excited to nap/read our books) and arrived to a hot sunny afternoon in Amsterdam, where we went to find our canal-side apartment, then drank some wine, hung out in the sunshine and went wandering until we found a lovely restaurant on the water. We ate outside under the fairy lights, drank some rose, and then wandered back home and stayed up chatting for a couple of hours.
