11.11pm, At Emily’s house. I spent the day at my sister’s house, doing work, then had a couple of hours of playing with my niece and nephew. In the eve, I met my friend Emily and hired a bike, and then we took part in Critical Mass. It’s part-protest, part-fun-ride, described as a “monthly protest by cyclists reclaiming the streets”. Hundreds of people rode the streets of central London, and it was so much fun (and only a bit scary)! We ended at Buckingham Palace, then decided to go for Chinese with some of Emily’s friends. When we got home, tired out, we stayed up waaaay too late talking.
