Wednesday 7 May – Same same but different


Current location: Surry Hills
11.11pm, On my way home from an amazing event at Longrain. Tonight was the cookbook launch for Poh Ling Yeow's new book Same Same But Different. We ate the most incredible food, including beef rendang, caramelised pork, tuna carpaccio, an amazing chicken curry, and two different desserts! I went with my friend Yee and we met some ace people, including Poh herself, who was so funny and warm, it was like having dinner at a friend's house. Can't wait to try some of the recipes out!
