11.11pm, Sitting in the lounge and chatting. Six of us (Mia, Gaz, Matty D, Em, Andy and I) have come on a weekend away to the Hunter Valley, to have some wine times and chill times out of Sydney. I love it in the Hunter, it's so beautiful and you feel so far away from the city, even though it's only a couple of hours away.
We came up after work (stopping on the way to pick up our Click and Collect Coles shopping, which blew my mind), in 40C heat... Thank goodness Mia and Gaz's car has air conditioning!
We arrived to an absolutely gorgeous house we'd booked on Airbnb... It had a big garden, was really nicely decorated, and my favourite bit was the delicious food hamper left for us, with home-baked bread, milk in glass bottles and some sparkling wine from one of our favourite wineries. Off to a good start! When Matty D and Em arrived, the six of us had some pizza, cracked open the wine and began the great unwind.
