11.11am, Figuring out our route to Bethnal Green. Our friend Siobhan had invited us to hers, as they were celebrating a friend's 30th. Siobhan lives right by the canal and so they decided to celebrate in an awesome way: by having a boat race. They had bought and decorated dinghies and organised an afternoon of races, which involved teaming up with someone you didn't know, paddling 80m down the canal, drinking a drink, and paddling back. Pretty soon the oars broke, so we used chopping boards instead, which didn't slow us down, but just made us get a lot wetter! Out of about 20 of us, Siobhan and Al (whose birthday it was!) were crowned the winners, and we all went inside to refill our glasses, dry off and carry on the celebrations. Amazing!
