11.11am, Exercising on the terrace. We all were feeling the effects of last night's cheese/pasta/aperol extravaganza, so decided to get up and have a little workout. It was so hot this morning so we all needed a good swim afterwards; luckily we have our own section of beach/sea!
In the afternoon, we headed to Taormina (a chic resort town) where, once again, we forgot about siesta time, but managed to find a restaurant to give us pasta, pizza and wine. Man, Italy is the best. We also had cannoli, granita, and took a cable car to the beach. It's such a cool and weird town, I really like it, although it's heaps more touristy than our little Pozzillo. We had an interesting dinner; the most amazing lasagne I've ever tasted but it was so small! Then ate another cannoli, and headed back to Pozzillo for cards and drinks.
