Friday 29 September – All the Sicilian food

Current location: Pozzillo
11.11am, Packing up and getting ready for the next part of our road trio. We went for a swim and some dives, then drove to an agriturismo, and had the most amount of amazing food ever. It's a working farm, and for 22 euros, you can have a feast of whatever they grown or farm on their land. We ate three courses of the most incredible antipasto, meats (including an accidental taste of lamb, oops), pastas, ricotta, cannoli, plus limoncello, wines, coffees. MY GOODNESS it was insanely good. We carried onto Noto, our next destination, then checked into our gorgeous house and promptly all fell asleep thanks to the food coma. We woke up in the evening, still fun, and headed out to explore, but it seems there's not a whole lot of nightlife in Noto. So we ate a weird snack (kind of like a Ragu doughnut), found a gay bar with amazingly cheap drinks, and another fun brewery-type bar called Mug, then went home and slept off the food.
