11.11pm, At the Lugger. Today was Andy's introduction to Mazey Day, which is part of the Golowan Festival aka the biggest event in Penzance's diary. The parades were awesome, full of colour and dancing and music, and then we went for a wander among the stalls, and a drink with Ruth and James at the Dock. In the afternoon we went to Pip's, where I watched a movie and fell asleep, then Andy and I went back out to the Lugger and listening to a few DJ sets and marvelled at the brand range of ages, styles and drunkeness.
