11.11am, On a bus doing a little tour of the city after the ship arrived back in city this morning. Helsinki has so much history and amazing architecture, it was awesome to see even a tiny bit of it. We had time for a quick stop at a small Christmas market for a glögi then went to the station to catch a train five hours north-east to a national park called Koli. We had a couple of hours of daylight to watch the landscape turn to snow and trees, and then I spent the rest of the time blogging. When we arrived at our hotel, it was dark and I couldn't wait to see what the morning would bring (after an amazing dinner of elk pizza). The hotel is so cute, they give you slippers to wear for your stay and there are knitting corners, plus it leads directly out onto mountain on one side and ski slopes on the other.
