Saturday 3 January – More to explore

Current location: Royal National Park

11.11am, Swimming. This morning Andy and I got up really early and drove south to the Royal National Park, which we've never been to before. It's crazy we've never ventured into it, but I guess sometimes those things on your doorstep, you just don't around to seeing. Anyway, we walked down to Winifred Falls, which is usually (apparently) a spectacular waterfall, but as the weather has been so dry recently, it was quite small. But the little area was so beautiful, and we hung out and swum there for hours. So remote and so pretty.

In the afternoon, after sweating out most of our body weight (it was BOILING today), we went back to Sydney and went to Milk Beach with Nick, Bree, Colin and Cristabel. It's only a small cove but it has the most amazing views over to the city and the Harbour Bridge. We ate a deeeeeelish picnic that Bree had made, and swam and played 'Broball' and then sea volleyball until the sun had gone in.
Not wanting to end the day, Andy and I rode over to Nick and Bree's and then stayed up until 1am drinking red wine and playing Cards Against Humanity.
