Friday 26 December – Boxing day babes

Current location: Ettalong Beach
11.11am, Walking to get coffee. It was beautiful and sunny again this morning, and lovely to see everyone out at the beach or wandering along the foreshore.
Jess, Mitch and I grabbed a coffee and then decided to book a BBQ boat as a surprise for the others the next day! The afternoon brought a lot more chilling out, and then Andy and I headed to Avoca to catch up with our beautiful friends Maddie and Sarah.

By the time we got back to the house, everyone was suffering from a little cabin fever, so we took over the street to play cricket. A few ball-bounces on cars and in front yards later, and we changed position, but to no avail. Wherever we positioned ourselves, we just kept hitting things we weren't supposed to! Oops, don't think the neighbours loved us that much. Eventually, due to some excellent catching out and fast bowling, we all got out, and decided to retire to the backyard for the 'safer' game of croquet. It was around this time that Jess and I started using champagne as a mixer to go with our Christmas-infused vodka, so our game wasn't quite as a professional as it could have been!

More general lazing around, eating and game-playing ensued, and we ended the evening with a blockbuster game of Cranium, which Jess and I lost (surprisingly) and Mitch and Dave won.
