Current location: Somewhere in the ocean!
11.11am, Interviewing Gavin MacLeod aka Captain Stubing. He was on the same cruise we were in, and so I was getting all the goss from him about his days working on The Love Boat. What a guy – he had so many funny, interesting and showbiz stories, and was only too happy to share them.
After I spent an hour with him, I met Catdog on the deck and we spent a few hours sunning ourselves with margaritas in the sunshine. There was a big screen up on the deck too, with movies showing so we part read, part watched films and part chatted, until it started to get a bit chilly and we went back to our room. We cracked open a bottle of champers and sat on the balcony drinking it, before going to meet Meg, Dave, Mick and another journalist David, for an amaaaazing steak dinner. It was such a fun group of people, and we laughed so much as we ate the amazing food and drank the amazing wine. After a cheeky nightcap at a bar downstairs, most people retired for the night, while Catdog and I took the opportunity to go to 'Shooting Stars', the onoard nightclub! So much fun, and so much cheesy dancing!
