11.11pm, Dancing around Nick and Bree's kitchen! Tonight is New Year's Eve, yippee!!! After much umming and aahing, we decided on a pretty low-key one, so Andy, Brodie and I went to Nick and Bree's house for a Greek extravaganza.
Bree had cooked up the most amaaaaaazing food, and we had lots of bubbles to wash it down with. We playing games, danced a lot, had an impromptu photoshoot and then ran outside at 9pm to look up and see the fireworks!
They were pretty cool but we didn't really see heaps so, by the time the midnight fireworks came on (after more eating, dancing, drinking), we'd decided to head further into Paddington. Breeza had remembered an amazing, random little spot where you can stand at the top of a little side street and see the fireworks at the end of the road (albeit quite far away!). So we took our drinks, party poppers and lots of merriment, and saw the new year in sitting in the middle of a road watching the Sydney fireworks. Not bad at all!
Afterwards, we were keen to kick the party on but found that all the pubs nearby were closed! I was so surprised... We're not in London anymore! We went back to their house and stayed up for a bit longer then Andy, Brodie and I cycled home. Once there, Brodes and I ended up sitting on the sofa, drinking tea and chatting until about 4am! What beautiful people to see in the new year with... Four of my favourite people on the world!
