Current location: Circular Quay
11.11am, Arriving in Circular Quay to have a look at the Sydney sights. We saw the Opera House (Vinny got stung by a wasp on the steps of the Opera House!) and the Harbour Bridge, then had a walk and stopped for a sunny lunch in the Rocks.
Across the harbour, you can see Luna Park, so the boys were pretty excited to go there. We got a boat across to Milson's Point, but then found out the park was closed! Booooo. We had a play and a wander instead, then came back over the river and headed back to Bondi. The boys were pretty up for more adventures, so we took them back to our house for pizza and football, the Vinny, Zac and I bundled up in some warm clothes, packed some chocolate cake and went off to watch Andy's football match. Despite our best cheering (and the boys staying up way past their bedtime!), his team still lost but it was a super-fun evening – my nephews are great company. I am loving having them here... It feels so normal and so wonderful!
