11.11pm, In a bar in Perth called The Bird, with Skippy and Andy. We were pretty boozy (not Skippy, who was the driver) as we'd been out for hours with lots of our lovely friends. As we're not in WA for aaaages, and we don't have a car, we thought a good way to see people would be to base ourselves in a bar in central Perth for the evening, and then anyone who fancied joining us for a drink could do! And it seemed lots of people fancied a Thursday night bev; we saw friends that we hadn't seen for a few months, friends we hadn't seen for 10 years, and everyone in between! So much fun, and the bar we'd been in (before we moved onto The Bird) was awesome: Ezra Pound. They do a particularly amazing hot buttered rum if you're ever there.
The day had been pretty chilled and pretty lovely; we'd gone to meet Keno in Subiaco, and had a lovely little potter around, before meeting my beautiful friend Carly for lunch. It was sunny, fun and relaxed, and made me remember why I love WA so much.
