11.11am, At the Home and Away props sale! One of the best things about where I work is that the building, which houses various magazines as well as the Channel 7 studios, often has beauty sales, jewellery sales, homeware sales etc.
Today we were signing the lease for our new house in Sydney and, as luck would have it, there was a Home and Away props sale this morning. Which meant a whole warehouse FULL of homewares, furniture, and memorabilia from the show. I restrained myself and tried to just get things we might need (instead of 20 Summer Bay High School rucksacks!), so ended up with a table, crockery, cushions, curtains, a drying rack and a blanket. Obviously all touched and used by Alf, Ailsa, Sam, Leah and the other good ones from H&A!
