Monday 2 May - Family and friends and a really good casserole

Current location: On a train
11.11am, On the way to Brighton with Andy, eating salt-and-vinegar Squares. We were popping down for the day to see my mum, dad and uncle. The sun was shining and they were all in fine form, so we had a lovely chilled-out day eating our body weight in toasted sandwiches then going to the beach for an hour or two. It was nice to see the sea again!

As it was Emma's birthday recently, we managed to all (well, almost all) get together and go for dinner in the evening. It was a funny, lovely night punctuated by delish food (I had a Moroccan-style king prawn and chicken casserole) and broken bottles of vinegar.

(Picture of king prawn casserole taken from Social shopping. This wasn't the actual casserole, but it looked pretty similar. Although mine came with rosemary and sea salt bread. Fancy.)
