Monday 4 April - Northern delights

11.11pm, On my way home from Soho. I'd met Anita, my old boss and friend from Liverpool, and Mark, who is a sometimes-freelancer at Candis and all-round entertainer. And tonight he lived up to it... We met for a drink at some fancy bar in Soho and, a few hours later, with our £120 bill paid and minor-celebrity friends made, I was on my way home.
