11.11am, Calling Lily Pickles because today is her birthday! Since meeting her at the tender age of 11, when we both had to read in assembly (a daunting task for any 11 year old, so it was only natural that we immediately bonded!), this is the 14th birthday that I've known her for. I have had so many amazing, funny and lovely times with this woman, especially as we were teenagers together, which is when all the awkward/embarrassing/hilarious stuff happens...She was there for pretty much all of it and, since then, I've watched her become a very talented nurse, a very creative businesswoman (check out her website and see the pretty things she makes) and, most of all, a super friend. Go Pil, hope you have a day as ace as you are.
