11.11pm, At home celebrating St Piran's Day, the national day of Cornwall! Today we have listened to Cornish male voice choirs singing sea shanties, drank Cornish ale at a pub with a Kernow flag on it, answered questions about Cornwall on the Itbox in the pub, watched a short, bizarre film on Cornish Wrestling and, perhaps best of all, made Cornish pasties! We've never made them before but, I have to say, they were a huge success. Even the one that got dropped on the floor on the way out of the oven. Mmm, I feel proper Cornish today, and proud of my lovely county. Proper job!
